Fitness Update // 2nd week of Jan

Okay, so I’ve changed the way the world works and decided that Tuesday is the new Monday. This is because I’m tracking January goals starting from the first which was a Tuesday.

So let’s see what I got up to in the gym.

Tuesday: Circuits with the PT with bench to finish
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Leg day with PT
Friday: Rest
Saturday: Leg day with Instagram friend
Sunday: Core
Monday: Shoulders and back.

I DID IT I DID 5 DAYS OF GYM! After feeing a bit glum about my situation with the gym, I feel much better. I was drinking too much in December and it really messed my schedule up. Christmas is doom. Dry Jan has been a great help to me for being productive and feeling good enough at the gym.

I’m feeling pretty good about my training. I’m about to get my new program, I’m back up to 3 reps of 40kg on the bench, I’m getting stronger in my core and feel great. I had my body fat done on Tuesday and it said it was 32% – up from around 28% before Christmas which is a bit shocking. I don’t think it’s accurate – I had it done again on Sunday and it said 27%. Something isn’t right somewhere.

I’ve still got a bit of a niggle in my back so avoiding deadlifts.

I did a leg workout with a girl who goes to my gym who I met on Instagram on Sunday. It was really good! She’s a bit intimidated by the weight area so I’m hoping I can get her used to it a bit more so she’ll be able to use the squat racks and other things on her own. She did really well and did the same weights as me even though it’s a new style of workout for her. She’s got strong legs!

Weight isn’t down, despite tracking everything, eating well and mostly sticking to my macros! This isn’t really demotivating me though, so that’s a good sign.

Excited for the week ahead and I really want start hitting more PBs!

    I love how you’ve made yourself a little gym buddy through Instagram! Also your butt looks amazing! Your going to smash your fitness goals this year I can tell!

    That’s great that you have a gym buddy. I have no idea about the weights area, I’d love a buddy to show me
