Another week has gone so quickly! Thankfully I have done my CIM exam now so I have a little more time to focus on other things. Very excited to have that pressure off my back!
Here’s how last week went:
Monday: Chest day
Tuesday: Rest day
Wednesday: Back and shoulders
Thursday: Leg PT session
Friday: Core day
Saturday: Leg endurance
Monday’s chest day was a little frustrating – I couldn’t get 8 reps at 40kg again! I did 7 reps, then tried again and got 5.
I did back and shoulders on Wednesday. I went up to 70kg for 2 reps but my form still wasn’t great so I didn’t push myself. My power clean thrusters are coming on though!
I had a really good PT session on Thursday, got a rep PB at 50kg squat with good form. Also tried overhead squats for the first time in ages and my form was much better!
Friday was core day, nothing special about this one, it was as tough as ever!
Another leg day on Saturday with my gym friend. I went for the 50kg squat again and didn’t manage to improve. I did do pretty well on pause squats though and increased my reps!
