Hello. Sorry for the lateness of this review, the August Degustabox was delivered a few days before I went on holiday so I’ve not had a chance to take a proper look.
Here’s the box.
Seabrook Crisps.
I used to live near the Seabrook factory in Bradford. As a Yorkshire, we had them loads growing up. I am sad to say that salt and vinegar used to be much better, they changed a few years ago and they don’t have enough flavour on them now. I do love the cheese and onion ones though.
£1.00
Bahlsen Pick Up – Black and whites.
I’ve had the original ones of these but these are a whole different ballgame. Which chocolate sandwiched between two chocolate biscuits. Great for on the go or for packed lunches.
£1.69
Refreshers Sofies.
I was actually a bit disappointed in these. I was expecting that kind of fizzy, sizzling sensation you get with normal refreshers but that wasn’t the case at all!
£1.00
Light Bite Popped Chips.
I took these on holiday with me to snack on. I must say I wasn’t a massive fan of the tomato flavour but really liked the sweet and smoky chipotle. An ideal alternative to crisps, these were great for the beach.
£0.99 each.
Cadbury Dairy Milk Big Taste Toffee Whole Nut
I love all the different flavours that Cadbury do, and this is no exception. You can’t go far wrong with toffee! It’s one of my favourite flavours.
£0.65
Cadbury Curlywurly Squirlies
I’m sure this needs no introduction, a classic chocolate bar now in a shareable bag!
£1.99
JellySqueeze.
A quick and easy snack, jelly you don’t need a spoon for. It’s gluten and lactose-free as well as suitable for vegans.
£0.69
Orangina Limited Edition Bottles.
Look, they’re wearing jeans. Great on its own or mixed into a cocktail.
£1.20
Twisted Halo – Coconut Water, Ginger and Vodka.
I was a bit skeptical of this as my fondness of coconut can be a bit hit and miss, but this was lovely. At only 90 calories a bottle, it’s a lighter treat to finish off your week without ruining the diet!
£1.50
Maggi Fusion Noodles.
This sticky duck and sweet chili noodles are great for a quick meal – ready in only 4 minutes.
£1.39
Tabasco Green Pepper Sauce.
This sauce is made from green jalapeno peppers and is mixed with salt and vinegar to bring you a great sauce for Mexican food, dressings and more.
£1.89
Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise.
Another product that doesn’t need an introduction! I’ve recently fallen in love with mayo and I kind of regret this.
So there you have it, the August Degustabox.
