I’m getting a bit bored of doing the #WIAW posts, as I eat similar things so it’s a bit boring. So, for a bit of a mix up, here’s what’s in my supermarket trolley.
I buy a lot of fresh food, so I generally buy from the supermarket two to three times a week, usually before my days off so I have enough food for then.
Morrisons had 25% off 6 bottles of wine. I always buy into this offer when it’s on because you can save quite a bit of cash! I bought The Shy Pig just for the name. Ha.
I pretty much always have blueberries and raspberries in my fridge as they’re the most common thing I like to stick in smoothies, I would have bought bananas but I already had some from my last shopping trip.
I usually just buy one pot of homous at a time, but these were on a multi-buy offer. I use them to dress salads.
I bought a tin of red kidney beans, sweetcorn and red pepper and olives – all for salads, again,
Some salad leaves. I like the two packs because they stay fresh for longer. I’m a massive fan of darker leaves, mainly rocket.
I bought some grains to add to salads, also the 9 bars are the BEST BAR EVER. They’re so delicious. Every time I have one I forget how amazing they are. Just.. try them. The fruit ones. DO IT.
I love a bit of stir fry in the summer. Picked up these two for a quick meal.
I like to chop up halloumi and add it to stir fry, and the salad cheese is for salads.
I bought some stuffed peppers which will either be an add on to salad or stir fry.
I like to have things like packets of cous cous in just in case I’ve not been able to get to the supermarket and have nothing fresh. It’s usually sometime I have if I’m feeling really hungry and have nothing else in.
