When I first started being conscious of healthy food, I would often opt for the famous Philadelphia on Ryvita. We’re talking about 12 years ago here and the only one you could get was the original cracker – which was often compared to cardboard in look, texture, and taste.
Since then, Ryvita has brought out many different varies of crisp breads and crackers. Some you can eat on their own as a snack, and some are designed to be dripped or have toppings on.
Back in September, Ryvita sent me a hamper of some of their products for me to try and I’ve been working my way through them since.
My favourite by far has to be the black pepper crackers – I ate them with just butter on them, I’m a massive fan of pepper and like when it almost burns! These really do crack a punch.
The salt and vinegar minis were also lovely – they had a lot of flavour on them and I always found myself wanting more!
The cheese and cracked pepper thins were also a favourite of mine, I found myself sat in front of the TV often dipping them in humous and I also used them for a bit of a cheese and wine party for one while watching Downton Abbey. BEST SUNDAYS EVER!
Back in 2014, I wrote a post with topping ideas for crisp bread, if you’re after some ideas!
Are you a Ryvita fan?
I love a good Ryvita! Those cracked black pepper would be amazing with some salmon! Oo I can feel a craving coming on! I love having Ryvitas with some houmous or peanut butter as a post gym snack! I’ve never seen the currents and seeds ones befoe though, ooo those with a little Nutella….damn, I’m drooling now!
Your fault.
