Last Wednesday, I posted about how I was feeling a bit stuck in a rut fitness wise and I was struggling to meet my goals because I had a lot of bad things happening in my life and it was getting in the way and leaving me feeling very de-motivated and feeling like there’s no point. Well, surprise surprise that the day I published the post, I was given even more life doom to try and deal with. I just can’t seem to catch a break lately!
Though no the plus side, I did well with food because when I’m feeling stressed and anxious, I get this lump in the back of my throat and I literally can’t swallow the fooooodddsss. Always look on the bright side and all that!
This week I’ve decided that rather than looking back on the last weeks exercise and food, I’m going to set a few small goals for the next week to get me on track.
I’m feeling really body conscious at the moment and it’s playing complete havoc with my confidence. When I’m in a good fitness routine, it makes such a difference to my mentality. Even if I don’t LOOK any different, I think it boosts my mood and I just feel better about myself and life in general.
So here are my goals for the next week.
- Each day either eat a 20g Arla Protein Yogurt or have a Protein Meal Replacement shake.
- Track food on MyFitnessPal.
- 3 workout sessions.
- 2 of the workout sessions to be weight based.
- Alcohol only on Tuesday and Sunday.
