High Protein Snacks

I love getting my protein in. The most common form of doing this – especially for vegetarians like me – is with protein shakes.

But for those of us that lead busy lifestyles, we might not always get the chance to prepare smoothies and shakes. Yes – it only takes five minutes – but that’s five minutes I don’t have before I head out in a morning to start my day.

If you’re keen for something ready made that you can grab and go, a peek at the snack section on Protein Work’s online store might be just what you need.

They sent me a few snacks to try out, their protein popcorn and a tub of protein nutties.

I’ve taken photos of the nutritional value of each snack for you to see for yourself what you’re getting.

The protein popcorn is an ideal snack for after the gym – you’ve had a hard day at work, a long gym session and all you want to do is curl up on the sofa and catch up the latest show your binge watching on Netflix. I can’t think of a better time to crack out the popcorn! I’d love to try the cinnamon flavour!

The protein nutties are a delicious snack for if you’re wanting a quick snack or to get more protein into your diet. I tend to eat these before going to the gym in a morning if I’ve not eaten yet or in between work and heading to the gym.

Why do protein balls always look unappetising but taste so good? And anything that justifies a popcorn/netflix binge is a winner in my book! ESPECIALLY if there is cinnamon involved NOM!

These look interesting. It might sound strange because I’m a vegetarian, but I have more protein that I need in my diet. Although I could use some protein snacks when I’m away and I can’t eat properly.
