Hifa da Terra is an interesting company.
It offers products from a natural organic source: mushrooms.
Mushrooms have fantastic health benefits and can strengthen the immune system. Their products all have a high concentration of amino-acids, vitamins, minerals, proteins, enzymes and amino acids.
It’s a family company who care a lot about the environment. They recycle 90% of their waste and collect rain water.
Anyway, Hifas de Terra stock food such as chocolate, spices and honey, they sell vegan products, superfoods and natural cosmetics.
They sent me a few products to try out.
Chocolate with cordyceps and pollen.
This was exciting because I’ve just started adding bee pollen to my smoothies. Pollen is quite the superfood and contains all nutrients required by humans. It’s got many benefits in including energy boosting, helps your immune skin and soothes skin.
Cordyceps is a type of fungi that also has many benefits and it is linked with possibly helping with cancers and may even shrink tumours.
I was a bit scared of this, to be honest. The thought of mushrooms in my chocolate isn’t my idea of fun. But this was delicious. It’s a rich dark chocolate that needs only a few squares to satisfy. I’ve eaten it all now. Sad.
Chocolate Blazei
Another delicious chocolate bar. This was darker then the previous one which meant it was richer, too. Again, no taste of mushrooms!
Mico-Salud Soap
This anti-septic soap is perfect for sensitive skin. It’s free from carbomers, DEA, petrochemical products, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes and sulphates. Basically, ALL THE GOOD THINGS!
I’m going to use this when my current soap runs out. If it’s any good, I’ll review it in full on my lifestyle blog.
All in all, I’m very impressed with Hifas de Terra so far. I love how natural their products are, I love how they just seem like a great company that really cares about the environment. Their brochure is stunning too. You can view their brochure for yourself here.
Chocolate from mushrooms, sounds intriguing. I would try it as I like dark chocolate.
Wait, wait, wait, mushrooms IN chocolate?? They’re actually IN there?? Well I’ll be damned, that’s all kinds of interesting! I’d have never have thought that would work in a million years if I’m honest! REALLY want to try this now!
I love mushrooms in all their fungi goodness, they’re just SO tasty!
Sarah 🙂
Saloca in Wonderland
You could get some. It’s delicious!
