Monday: Sculpt 3/4 (40 mins weights)
Tuesday: Fat Burner (35 min cardio) and Ab Ripper 200
Wednesday: Sculpt 3/4
Friday: Fat Burner, Ab Ripper 200 and 30 mins yoga.
Saturday: 30 mins yoga.
Sunday: 4 mile run, Ab Ripper 200 and 20 min yoga.
I mentioned in a post last week how I’m taking on Janathon this year. Aiming to exercise every day.
I’ve done fine this week and managed to stick to working out daily and the P90 program.
P90 Update
I’m on day 50 of the P90 workout series. 40 days to go!
I’ve read a lot on Beachbody forums (Beachbody make P90 and other exercise programs) that it’s fine to substitute the Sweat with other cardio.
I find the cardio videos really boring and I dread them.
I’ve done the Fat Burner (a cardio video that is an extension of the P90) twice this week instead and a 4 mile run. It’s a lot more fun and there’s more variety.
I’m going to start doing other videos on YouTube next week as a substitute to stop me getting bored, they just need to last between 30 and 40 minutes.
I’ve continued with the weight lifting video though as scheduled.
Yogering.
I’ve also started doing a 30 day yoga challenge by Adriene. It’s a 30 day challenge with a different yoga routine every day. Although because I’m sticking to the P90 daily, if I miss a day due to not having time to do both workouts, I’ll have a day or so in between.
The first two workouts were 30 mins and the third was only 20, so I guess it depends how long they are.
I don’t mind if it takes me 40 or even 50 days, as long as I get each workout done!
Weight Loss
I weighed myself yesterday and I’ve gained 1lb over the festive period. So my total weightloss is now 8lbs instead of 9lbs. I don’t mind this as I’ve been doing weight training at least 3 times a week, so it could easily be a gain in muscle mass. Or that’s what I’m going to keep telling myself 😉
