The rain ruins everything, right?
Last week I wanted to do a 7-day cycling challenge where I cycled every day for 5 miles. But then I ran into a problem on day 5. That problem was vertigo. I felt so sick and dizzy after work that when I got in I had to nap for an hour.
I had planned on picking up the next day, but then it RAIN. Stupid UK. So on Friday, I went to the gym.
It was actually really nice as I went with my old housemate. Did a pretty decent full body workout and it felt good to be lifting again.
I think this week my goals are to cycle twice and gym twice. That’s a nice balance. Monday is looking rainy, so the gym it is then!
On the plus side, I had managed to cut off almost 4 full minutes from the first time I cycled the 5 miles until the last time! First time was 28:26 and the last time was bang on 25! YAY for progress 🙂
