Another week of daily workouts! Again, I’m so happy I’ve been this motivated still.
Seeing the difference in my body really helps. I just LOVE being at the gym lately. There used to be days where I would dread it and make an excuse not to go, but lately, it’s been the highlight of my day.
After I went out last Saturday, was really drunk, got a veggie burger take away and didn’t workout on Sunday due to being hungover – and probably ate too many crisps in the process, I weighed myself and I had gained back those 3lbs I had lost. Which is frustrating because why does it take so long to lose weight, but then you just gain it all back after one drunken night?
I know that realistically you can’t gain 3lbs of fat in one night. When I weighed myself a few days later, I thought I would have dropped a bit, but nope – still the same. I didn’t weigh the rest of the week until Sunday morning. I was down 2 of the pounds.
So no weight loss this week. In theory, I’m a pound up. Though I’m not focusing too much on the scale because my body is making all kind of changes. Like this, for example.
There’s only 5lbs difference between those two photos. 5lbs! All this weight lifting is really working for me. I think my body looks the size it usually does when I’m half a stone lighter.
This is what’s keeping me motivated. Not the scale.
Seeing the changes in the mirror, in photos, that’s keeping me going.
So heres to another great week.
Keep up the good work! I love my protein powder too.
Wow. this is incredible! I’ve always been curvy but stopped going to the gym during my postgrad and even when I went back to my usual cardio routine, I couldn’t get my body back on track. I’m definitely going to start doing weights after seeing those two pictures.

Wow you’ve been so good this week to do daily workouts and I am so impressed at how much your body has changed in about 6 weeks x
I was worn out just reading what you have been doing, but you are looking amazing and the hardwork is showing great results x
It’s worth remembering as well that muscle weighs more, so you could be gaining muscle weight – keep focusing on the visual changes as I think that is the telling sign 🙂 x
You are really exercising lots and look great. I would not worry about the weight gain as long as your body looks toned which it does. Do those protein powders help??
Wow I think you have had amazing results especially in just six weeks. Keep up the good work you are doing a fantastic job.
wow that is an intense work out I need to get off my bum and do some too! Keep up the awesome work x

Your dedication is amazing, I bow down to you. I’ve been really bad with the gym lately, I have got to get back into routine with it. I feel so much better when I do
Incredible, only 5lbs different and it looks like 3 stones difference. I am so jealous of your work out, I am lacking in motivation so I need my very own pick me up to start again
Wow you are so motivational – Makes me feel that all is not lost for me. That before and after picture is incredible – well done you. And stop beating yourself up for a drunken night – Everyone needs to let go occasionally!
It’s awesome that you enjoy going to the gym. The variety in your workouts probably helps keep things interesting!
You are doing so well! Keep going! I wish I had your dedication!
Your doing so well and look great – you have made me motivated!!
I wouldnt worry so much about the numbers, more on how you feel and if you feel great then thumbs up x
This is so impressive! I used to go to the gym everyday but I’ve gotten really lazy lately. Lifting weights is definitely way more effective than cardio and that’s what’s made the biggest difference for my body. Keep going, you look fab!
You’ve been smashing it lately and I’m so proud of you! You’re pushing my to get my own ass back in the gym too! I made all three of my gym session last week and have made my first one of this week too, plus I’ve been doing a daily 100 rep challenge at home that I’ve only missed one day of so far since the beginning of the month!
It’s never about the numbers, it’s about the change you SEE and how you FEEL in your own skin, that’s what’s worth focusing on 😀

This is really motivating. I Def think I need to start looking at more weight training. I’m a bit of a cardiovascular bunny and I’m sure mixing it up will make a world of difference!
WOW well done. Your before and after photos look amazing! Daily workouts ARE hard. I know it’s a little disheartening not loosing weight but like you say, your body is making all kinds of changes. Keep it up! You’re very inspiring. 🙂 I’m starting the couch to 5k this week, eek! Wish me luck lol. xx
My goodness you’ve been hard at work but you’re doing very well. Keep it up!
wow! I’d love to be able to do that, Currently with my health i cant do exercise but one day I will and this is inspirational. Angela from Daysinbed
I’m glad the scales aren’t having too much of an impact on you, you’ve probably put on a good 4-5lbs of muscle! Which is amazing, from the tone n your body and the workouts you’ve written up I’d say you’re on the right track!
-Do you have a food plan that you’re currently doing? I Hate to butt in ( I don’t, I love butting in) I have no self-control, you’re burning off a tonne of calories so make sure you’re eating enough to keep your metabolism high and your food cravings low. Sorry. I had to.. x
You are doing amazingly well! The little setbacks are frustrating, but you seem committed to the regime x
Wow! In such a small space of time you have definitely changed and I can’t believe there is only 5 pounds difference! I am also so impressed by your dedication, I really need to get my bum back into gear xx
If you’re lifting I would ignore the scales completely from now on and go for tape measure + occasional body fat readings.
Also the 3lbs in one night post takeaway isn’t fat- it’ll be water retention from the alcohol and the salt in the takeout food 🙂
your before/after pics are great-you look so incredibly toned!
Wow you can really see the difference betwee those 2 pictures. Well done you are doing really well!
You look fantastic and it’s great that you are feeling motivated to keep going. I’ve been struggling with my weight recently and, with my birthday being yesterday, the rest of the week is probably going to involve a lot of celebrating… I will be back on the diet next week! 🙂
I wish I had self motivations to stick to a fitness routine. Well done and keep up a good work.
Oh wow what a difference. Fantastic! Well done you. Keep at it.
