Monday: Leg strength
Tuesday: PT chest day
Wednesday: Back and shoulders
Thursday: Rest
Friday: Leg endurance
Saturday: Core
Sunday: Leg strength
It might seem like I’ve had 3 leg days this week, but I was one behind from my last program. So in theory, now I’m all caught up!
Monday’s leg session was good. I took some videos of my squats and there were slight improvements in my 45kg and 50kg.

Tuesday was a good chest day with my PT. I got a rep PB on 37.5kg off 10 reps! I also managed to get 8 reps at 40kg again, though only on the second try as I was a bit tired after all the work before that. Now it’s time to work on getting 8 reps for 2 sets at 40kg! I’m excited to try this tomorrow at the gym.

Wednesday was actually a really good session, my favourite of the week. 3 reps at 73kg on hex deadlift. It’s really hard but hopefully, it’ll get easier soon! I also PBed my clean at 30kg.

On Friday I did leg endurance. Pause squats – these are hell but I can feel it working. The session was hard work and I’m not looking forward to doing it again. I guess what helps is that I’ve only got 3 left to do before my new program!

I tried my new core session on Saturday and that was painful, as usual. TRX pikes are difficult and not an exercise I’m thrilled about. Core, in general, is a hard one for me. I just hate every second. Hopefully, my second session will run a bit smoother.
Sunday was a tough session. I went to London straight after the gym on Saturday and I drove back on Sunday and weight straight to the gym. I had a tough leg strength session and I probably beat myself up a bit more than I should have about it. I just feel like I’m working really hard but not getting very far!
Hopefully, next week will be better for the old legs!
You’re really doing some serious gym work, respect!
