I faced into my doom and my PT weighed me on Tuesday. I have gained a couple of pounds but I got back on track with my diet and had lost it by the end of the week! I hope to lose a bit more, too. I want toned arms so I need to lose a bit of body fat so you can actually see my muscles I’ve been working so hard on.
Speaking of which, I seem to have gone a bit backwards with my bench press. I was pressing 3 reps at 40kg and at 42.5kg consistently for the past 4 weeks. Then on Thursday in my session, I could bearly do 1 rep at 40kg! I thought it was because before I had done 3 sets of 20 reps at 20kg followed by 10 walkaways before working up to my bench.
Then on Sunday, I tried again, I got to 40kg and could only do 1 rep! It just felt so heavy.
I’m a bit gutted but on my new program, my PT is setting me I’ll be having two chest/upper body days – one high rep/lower weight and one heavier weight focusing on different muscle groups.
Doom, pray for me.
