After a busy week, I headed to the gym on Saturday after work to find the gates were padlocked shut.
I then went to the exit gates, which had been closed but broken into. I got out of my car and walked inside to see if I could see anything and saw skips full of rubbish, wood, metal and a couple of men by a fire, rummaging.
It turns out my gym closed down.
So, I got home to find a leaflet saying that a new gym is opening very close to me in a month. There’s a pre-opening offer where if you join now, a limited number of people get it for oly £10.99 a month for the first 12 months. So I signed up for that. But this means I’m gymless for the next 4 weeks.
I’ve been designing a Christmas workout challenge, which I hope to publish live and invite people to join at the end of November, so I guess the next few weeks I’ll be testing out home workouts to be included in that.
