I keep forgetting to post my heart rate monitor time and calorie burn!

I think that sets the tone for this week, to be honest. A bit half arsed.

Yes, I went to the gym 6 times, but about 3 of the workouts weren’t that great. I think I’ve reached a bit of boredom in my routine.

Next week I’m going to focus less on cardio and more on weights. I need to focus on the intensity and work on increasing what I’m lifting as I’ve not seen much muscle growth over the last 4 weeks. I feel like I gained muscle and it’s been pretty stagnant ever since!

Over the next week I’m going to try and add more weight to each of my weight exercises and see what happens.

I also used the bench press which I want to do more of. I estimate the bar weighs 20kg so I’m currently pressing 25kg which isn’t a lot. I plan to do 5×5 25kg in my next session, then see if I can add 2.5kg at the end of the week.

I’m also a bit miffed because someone said I looked like I’m getting fatter. What an idiot. I hate how people think it’s okay to comment on peoples weight.

How has your week been?

If they think you’re fat, I’m not sure I’d like to know what they think of me! But honestly, you’re doing so well. Push forward and think of ways to make it less boring. Have you thought about doing classes? I’ve heard those are good to change things up and alleviate boredom.

Ignore the haters. If I was even half as thin as you I’d be happy

Great workout week! Ignore the idiots! Obviously one of those people that feel the need to drag folk down to feel better about themselves!
