Sunday: Back and Calisthenics
Trying really hard with this calisthenics stuff, I completed the 14-day challenge last week but I feel like I’m not really getting anywhere. I’ve noted on my calendar when I’ll be 8 weeks in so I can video myself to see if I’ve made any progress.
This is 4 weeks:
Leg endurance day was good as I’ve got a real improvement in my depth of pulse squats. I just need to try apply this depth to higher weights now, ha!
On Saturday I hit my goal for 2019 – I got 8 reps at 40kg on the bench! I’m so happy with myself! I can’t believe I did it, I thought I’d get like 6 reps, not 8!
On Sunday I trained back. I usually train back and shoulders together but my PT trained shoulders with me on Thursday, so I focused on back and then did some calisthenics. I’ve had a slight improvement in depth on my squat in power clean thrusters, though I’ve still a way to go until I’m happy with it!
New program next week, I’m excited!
