Tuesday: Gym – 10 mins running, 20 mins cross trainer, weights.
Friday: Gym – 1 mile run, 10 mins cross trainer, 10 mins bike, 40 mins weights.
Saturday: 10k run.
I’m back home now and it suddenly feels like I never left!
I went to the gym in the hotel on Tuesday, then my normal gym at home on Friday and ran 10k on Saturday – which is my first outdoor run in probably 5 or 6 weeks!
I need to get working on my speed again as I was really slow. My legs also ached a bit the day after!
I did a mega weight workout on Friday – I hate doing weights but really want to push myself to get some definition in my arms and back. I even did kettle bells! There was a girl in the gym who had big muscles and it inspired me to want to work harder at it. To be honest, my weight sessions are always half assed.
I spent the last year focusing on weight loss and running and now I want to focus on muscle gain.
