Monday: Mile on treadmill, 10 mins cycling and weights at gym.
Tuesday: 15 mins elliptical, 15 mins cycling and weights.
Friday: 10 mins elliptical, 15 mins cycling, 10 mins running, weights
Saturday: 10 mile run
Sunday : 10 mile cycle.
I’m feeling a lot better about my fitness this week! Getting outdoors in the sunshine really does help.
I only had plans two evenings last week, so managed to workout the 5 days I was free. It’s a lot of fun being social but not so good for my workout routine! But I’m a bit happier that I’ve decided to be less harsh on myself about missing workouts. Ideally, I’d like to workout 5-6 times a week, but if I only make it 3-4 times, I’m cool with that. I want to have fun, too.
On Saturday I planned on going on for a run. I didn’t have a goal in my mind. I knew I wanted it to be over 5 miles. After 45 mins of running or so I decided to go for 10 miles. I wasn’t going really fast, but found a comfortable pace where I wasn’t out of breath. I thought I could keep going forever.
On Sunday, it was an equally sunny day so I went for a bike ride. 10 miles. I really wish I knew some more routes within Leeds, but I kind of feel trapped in by hills or being in the town centre. Might map out some that go down to the centre and out the other side of Leeds as I do enjoy exploring!
Next week isn’t going to be great exercise wise as I’m going to PARIS ON THURSDAY.
I’ll schedule a post with workouts I’ve done midweek though. I’ll be doing lots of working on holiday though which will be good!

Well done on 10 miles, that’s incredible! I find that when I run, I often just push myself to keep going and realise that I can do a lot more than I think!
I’m the same as you, I’m really hard on myself when I miss a workout, but it’s important to have fun too! xx
