#fitmas week three is over! How did you do?
I have something embarrassing to say though – I’ve not done a single workout during week 3. I fell really ill on Monday – I’ve been having problems with feeling dizzy and like I’m going to pass out for a while now, but on Monday it got really bad to the point I couldn’t walk. I had to leave work, book an emergency doctors appointment on Tuesday morning and get myself checked out.
Feeling like you’re not in control of your body is awful – and the feeling of blacking out, or being on the verge of collapsing is terrifying. I cried down the phone to the receptionist as I was sure I had a brain tumour and they would send me straight to hospital!
Turns out – they don’t know what is wrong and I’m being sent for further tests, she thinks I have vertigo but we need to find out what triggers it – as vertigo is a symptom of another problem. I’ve been told I can’t drive, I was off work until Saturday as the doctor said I shouldn’t work for a week and though the feeling has gotten much better thanks to the medication, I still felt too ill to exercise as movement seems to make it worse.
I’m going to go to the gym tomorrow and do some light cardio and see how I get on. I don’t think I’ll be running on the treadmill – but cycling and cross trainer should be okay.
I’m also doing a productivity challenge this week – which involves my diet. I’ll be focusing more on my diet rather than going hardcore fitness!
Anyway – enough of my rotten health issues! Let’s get onto #fitmas week 4!
Week 4:
Workout 1: Ab day and 40 minutes cardio
Workout 2: Leg day
Workout 3: Arm day
Workout 4: Optional.
Weekly Challenge.
Don’t forget to link up any blog posts! I’m going to be keeping the same link up open throughout the 5 weeks, so add as many posts as you want!

I’ve managed to get in two workouts this week and I did my first 5k run of the year on Sunday – if anything that has given me a boost to definatly sign up for more next year, it was just so much fun and I know if I have a few coming up I will have to train, especially if I ever want to work up to a half marathon! 2016 goals maybe?
I’m on normal hours this week and have my works Christmas party at the end of it so I should be able to actually do all my workouts for once! Woo!

Oh how did the 5k go? I hope you’ll blog about it SALOCA!
Boooo for vertigo 🙁 I was also useless this week, but not due to illness or anything, just tiredness and being busy! I’m hoping for a better week this week
It’s so hard to have a life and be fit and eat well!
I used to suffer really badly with Vertigo when I was younger but luckily I grew out of it and now only have rare issues with it, so I know how awful it is! I hope you’re feeling better- definitely don’t push yourself too much! xx
