It’s been a long time since I’ve posted here. As you may remember, I ran a 10k in March of this year, which was my first 10k. I am now training to run my second 10k and have only a few weeks left to prepare!
Following my holiday to Florida, I’ve been attempting to lose some weight and get back into running but it’s taken a while! I’ve been really busy since I’ve been back and not really had any time to train due to work, blogging and having events or social things with friends to attend!
I’m finally back and on Monday, I started a diet and taking some diet pills that I was sent to review for the blog.
I started a new thread on the forum to log my journey to weight loss, running and invite anyone who may wish to join to either link me to relevant posts, or post in the forum!
Here’s how the week has gone so far:
Dinner: Roast chicken sandwich, fruit salad (melon, strawberries, grapes).
Breakfast: grapes and banana.
Dinner: poached egg on 2 slices of brown bread and beans.
Tea: Salad with prawns and olives.
Snack: Strawberries and blueberries.
Breakfast: Fruit salad of grapes, blueberries, banana and strawberries.
Dinner: Ham salad sandwich on brown bread (Tesco’s light choices), packet of walkers sunbites and a 3-a-day smoothie.
Tea: Veg stir fry.
Exercise: 3 mile run in 35 mins.
Total weight loss: 3lbs.
Goal loss: 12lbs.
I am not working today, so am going to go for a run this morning!
