It’s Degustabox time again.
It was weird getting this box. I had to go pick it up from my old house where it had been delivered. I had to knock on the door and everything. It’s so weird knocking on the door to where you used to live.
Anyway, let’s jump right in here and see what we have.
No beating around the bush today, kids. I’m on nights so everything feels weird.
Degustabox July 2016
Seabrook Lattice Food Heros.
YES. I can finally live my chorizo dreams as these are vegetarian.
I love Seabook crisps. Being Yorkshire and all. The Lattice ones are always full of flavour, too.
Itsu Crispy Seaweed Thins
I’m eating these right now. I’m not sure how I feel. If you’ve had seaweed before, then this is what it tastes like. A bit fishy and salty. I don’t think I’m a fan to be honest as it’s a really strong taste. But if you can get over that, it’s only 13 calories per pack so great for a snack.
Also has vitamin B12 and iron which veggies/vegans are known for being deficient in.
Sarson’s Balsamic Vinegar
This has been in the box before in the May 2015 box. I actually still have it. I should probably use it in salads though but I tend to use balsamic glaze! I should also probably check the other bottle isn’t out of date seeing as it was that long ago!
Bahlsen Choco Leibniz
These have been featured many times in Degustabox in the past as full packets, now they have brought out lunch box size packs. I know I won’t eat these because I’m not a chocolate biscuit person. I know someone who will so I’m gonna give the gift of biscuits.
I love gherkins. I don’t eat them enough for how much I love them so I’m glad to have this jar in my life.
They’re so low in calorie and a great snack if you’re peckish. Of course, you can just be like a normal person and use them on burgers.
I first tried aloe vera drink a few weeks ago and love it so I’m happy to have this in the box. Although I was sent the mango one, I prefer original! I felt like the mango spoils it a bit.
I’ve started eating cereal at work now, so this will come in handy for when I’m out of cheerios. I love muesli!
I love fruit juice and this combo sounds amazing. They’re all free from added sugar and artificial sweeteners and a serving counts towards 1 of your 5 a day. Hurrah!
These are so nice! Remind me of chocolate covered raisins but they’re dark chocolate and blueberries. I’ve seen them in the American section in Tesco
Fruit Pastille Infusions.
I can’t try these as they have gelatine in them. It baffles me how in 2016 big companies use ingredients that would stop loads of people buying it. Vegetarian/vegan/halal sweets exist. I wonder if one day it will become a thing of the past seeing as so many people now have different diets.
This range is meant to help give you a bit of pick me up. With amino acids, it helps you deal with the stress and pressure of everyday life. Woo!
The products in the Degustabox’s vary slightly. As I’m sent them to review, I get all products. So the drinks featured in the above and below photos weren’t listed on my product guide, but are something you could get if you buy the July box.
