Hello.
I went for a run today for the first time since I did Leeds 10k.
My plan to continue with the running all summer was totally dismantled when I landed myself a new job. A new job to build a new store with the company I work with.
This isn’t an every day opportunity. With the drop in sales across the retail sector, it’s not often new stores and shops are being built. It’s probably something I’ll never get to experience again.
After months of hard work, planning, interviewing and recruiting, the store has now been open for a month and things are now a bit calmer. My work/life balance is starting to get better and I want to get back into running and cycling over the autumn.
I love running in autumn, the leaves under my feet and the sharp cold air piecing my chest.
I donned my arm warmers, put in my ear phones and ran 3 miles.
My split was about a minute per mile less than I was running a few months ago, but that’s okay.
I’ll get faster.
I’d like to lose 7lbs by Christmas and then have the best Christmas of my life, 100% comfortable with my body and proud of my fitness levels.
Love! I’ve recently run my first mile (please, please hold your applause) and posted about it here 😉 What do you think, good for a newbie? 😉
