Hello. I’m still going with these what I ate Wednesday posts – hopefully you’re not bored of them yet!
Having a nosey at what people eat is one of my favourite things and doing this posts helps me want to add some variety to my diet. I still mainly stick to salads and fruit though.
Ive been looking into ways of getting protein into my diet. I have been eating quorn but it bothers me a bit because of how processed it is, I’d much rather get it from a more natural product – any suggestions?
Where’s what I ate last Thursday.
Breakfast was a fruit salad of grapes, pineapple, strawberries and melons.
For dinner I had a salad. I’d also made some quinoa with peppers, onion and garlic which I added to it, and also I had made up a mix of kidney beans, sweetcorn and feta. I like to make mixes like this that will last me a few days to put on salads.
This was one of those meals where you just have to work with what you’ve got! Which wasn’t much! I didn’t think properly about what I wanted to eat on my day off, doom. I had 2 poached eggs with quinoa and the kidney bean mix.
I put BBQ sauce on my plate but didn’t really use much of it – it was a terrible combo!
I mainly wanted to get some decent energy in before going snowboarding.
If you’re wondering about the title, at university my friend and I used to call eggs ‘legs’, as we used to put ‘le’ in front of everything as if it was French. L’eggs!
Mais, oui!
It’s fantastic that I’m putting my French degree to good use.
When we got back from snowboarding I was hungry and I needed to eat this pineapple before it went off. It’s so hard cutting pineapple – I read a tutorial but still couldn’t get it! It was sweet and delicious though.
What did you eat?
Everything looks so yummy!
Thanks 🙂
Looks delicious!
