Breakfast was melon, pineapple and an orange. I love fruit in the morning! Or anytime really, but I try to just eat it in the morning because of high sugar content.
After breakfast, I went on a 5 mile run and it really wore me out! I don’t think I’ve ever felt that exhausted from a 5 miler before.
I had chicken and butternut squash soup. It was delicious and had lentils in. I didn’t have any bread, but I did have the full pot of two servings. I’d much rather have more soup than boring bread, anyway.
It was one of my housemates birthday, so we went out for a meal. For starters, I had this chilli prawn and pulled pork.. thing.. wait, let me try pull up the menu.
Let’s take two..
It was a bar in Headingly, Leeds called Trios. I had for starters their ‘surf and turf’. This was: Chilli king prawns with breaded pulled pork risotto cakes and celeriac and apple slaw’. It was delicious.
For my main I had their Chicken and Chorizo salad with sauteed new potatoes, green beans, sweet peppers, mixed leaves, poached egg, Caesar dressing and a warm pitta. I lefted the potatoes and pitta though.
I drank quite a bit. Half a glass of red wine before we left, about 3 glasses of red wine while there, an amaretto while everyone else got dessert and then when we got back, I had a cider. I was rather hungover the next day! I felt dehydrated and very tied most of Sunday, mainly because I couldn’t sleep and woke up about 8am!
No more plonk until Christmas eve now!
I wore my Emily and Finn orange dress which I love 🙂 It’s quite small so doesn’t always fit me, so I’m glad I’ve lost a bit of weight so I can get back in it!
