Puressentiel Articulations Roller // Review

I had an e-mail a few weeks back to see if I wanted to review a few products. I love it when you’re not quite sure what you’re getting in a package! It’s like Christmas. Blogmas. Yes. Or something.

Anyway, one of the things I was sent was this Articulations Roller by Puressentiel.

I’m not going to lie, when I first got this I was a bit.. unsure about.. well.. it.

It’s weird, you see. When I say weird, I mean: it’s not like anything I’ve ever seen or tried before.

The packaging doesn’t really explain much about what it’s supposed to do, other than relax and soothe your joints. So I ventured to the internet for more information.

What it claims to do:

  • Reduces swelling
  • Help stiffness in joins and muscles
  • Has anti-inflammatory properties
  • Relieves pain.
  • Helps regain flexibility.
  • Relaxes and soothes.

How to apply it:

You simply roll it across zones that are causing you pain or discomfort, such as:

  • back
  • nape of the neck
  • shoulders
  • elbows
  • wrists
  • hands
  • hips
  • knees
  • ankles
  • feet

So basically, you’ve experiencing post-workout muscle or joint pain, this is for you.

If you like the smell of things like vapour rub and germolene you’ll love the smell of this. I can’t stop sniffing it! It’s so strong, too. When you first use it, it gives a cooling/tingling sensation which feels relieving on the muscles.

When I moved house earlier in the week, my calves were killing me – I think from carrying heavy boxes up stairs. It felt like I’d ran up 100 flights of steps! Applying this to my calves give an instant feeling of coolness that seemed to slightly tingle in a pleasant way. I can’t really explain it, but it’s fun!

Mostly I’m just in it for the smell.
