My Perfect Workout Playlist // Competition

dream playlist

Puregym is currently holding a competition to encourage people to share their top playlists. You can see the fab prizes up for grabs, such as a Maxi Nutrition bundle and two Fitbit Zip’s, here.

My ideal playlist is a good mix of nostalgic songs from my teens, including a few angry songs that always get me pumped as well as uplifting music that carries a motivational message. On top of the world by Imagine Dragons, for example.

There are other songs that just have a great beat to them and really keep me going, such as Tucan by Kids of 88. There are another few songs in my playlists that are life long loves – such as Postal Service Such Great Heights, which has been a favourite of mine for about 10 years!

I like a good mix on my playlist as I’m quite indecisive and liable to skip some tracks depending on my mood.

Here’s the songs that have made it on to my playlist:

On top of the world by Imagine Dragons

Tucan by Kids of 88

Fineshrine by Purity Ring

This is my year by Rawn Erickson

Do you want it all by Two Door Cinema Club

Carousel by Linken Park

Just Keep Breathing by We The Kings

This Bitter Pill by Dashboard Confessional

My Rollercoaster by Kimya Dawson

Such Great Heights by Postal Service

Wrath Pinned to Mist and Other Games by Of Montreal

Great choices, I love Imagine Dragons and Two Door Cinema club, got quite a few of their songs on my playlist! Few others on my workout playlist – Love Today – Mika (Great on the treadmill for pace), A little party never killed nobody – Fergie (Great Gatsby soundtrack), A HUGE Reel Big Fish selection – anything by them never fails to up my cardio game, and of course, there’s a bunch of Disney tracks, including; Something that I want – Tangled, A Star is born and Zero to Hero – Hercules, and Son of Man – Tarzan! All surprisingly great treadmill tracks!
