Lost 2KG

Hello.

I went to the gym Monday – Friday and Sunday this week. It was good. I was just doing normal stuff, mostly circuits involving the rower or watt bike. On Friday, I had my PT Session. Sadly, I started to have a bit of a dodgy stomach about an hour before. I started to feel sick so we changed the session from circuit-based to weight based so it wasn’t going to make me feel worse. I did start to feel better after 15 mins or so.

The session was good, I did more deadlifts which I find quite difficult technique-wise. I’ve never been the most naturally gifted person when it comes to stuff like this so I have to concentrate a lot on my form. I think sometimes I do overthink it.

We did bench press, too. It’s the first time she’s showed me how to do these and what do you know, another thing I was doing wrong! You think it’s just pushing a bar up and down, but I wasn’t doing it right meaning I was using the wrong muscles. When corrected, I couldn’t do as many. Something I need to work on for sure.

She also weighed and measured me. I’ve lost 2kg since she weighed me a month ago! I’m happy with that. I’ve also lost 2 cm on my hips and about 7 cm (can’t remember exactly) around my waist.

Hopefully, I can lose 2 more in the next 4 weeks. I do find weight loss hard so I’m happy to see some progress, as I have been working really hard.

    Yay on your loss! I’ve had a go at bench presses but I’m pretty sure I’m doing them wrong too. I’m not a fan though as I’m convinced I’m going to drop the bar on my face haha!
