Hello everyone. As you can see, I’m back in the swing of things at the gym. I went 5 times last week and had good workouts each time.
On Tuesday I had my first proper session with my PT. I had a taster before I went to Australia.
I had an hour session with her. The first 10 mins or so was being weighed (eek) and measured. I’ve gained 2lbs and 4cm since Australia. Doom. I guess a month in the sun drinking wine every day isn’t great for you.
The session was actually really good. Warm up on the watt bike which was hell, then some circuits with the battle ropes (from hell), weights and a bit of boxing. I’ve never done boxing before but it was really fun. I was exhausted by the end of it.
She also sent me a session to do on my own which was circuit style training on the watt bike. 5 minutes on the bike followed by some weights, then some heavy legs and sprints with squats to finish off. I did that session twice on my own and it took about an hour and 10 minutes.
On Thursday I did a shorter version of it because I didn’t get home until late when I did it the day before. It felt really good.
I’ve been doing really well with food and cooking on an evening. At work, I’ve discovered some ready meals by a company called Bol. They’re vegan, fresh, full of goodness and currently on 2 for £5! I love the sweet potato Mexican chili one. They’re around 300 calories each and you stick them in the microwave. I would prefer to take my own but it’s quite difficult to meal prep when you don’t have much time. So this being all fresh ingredients and no added crap is good for me!
I’m a bit worried that I’m not losing weight. I know it takes me ages to do so and I struggled with every method so far apart from doing the So Shape Challenge. My PT is going to look at my food diary on Tuesday so hopefully, she can give me some guidance.
How has your week been?
