Fitness Update // Back to work

Hello. It only seems a few minutes ago that I was doing my last update, not a full week. This week has gone by way too fast. I’ve had the week off work and loved every minute of it. Back to work on Monday. Doom.

I went to the gym 6 times last week. I did intend to go on Sunday but I was so hungover and I feel terrible about it. I feel crap when I drink. This must stop.

As I was on holiday from work, I wanted to make sure I went every day as I spent a lot of time on my feet at work and a lot of time on my bum at home.

I had two PT sessions this week. Tuesday and Friday. I was weighed and I’ve lost enough 0.2kg in a week and a bit. Not brilliant but it’s better than a gain. I’ve lost more cm around my waist and my hips though so woo.

First PT session was kickboxing and it killed me. I did some ab work which I never do and spend the next two days in pain. I felt like my ribs were bruised. RIP. Please, no more ab work. The second session was some circuits and then I worked my back.

I did my 2 PT lone sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. One was leg training –  so squats and the like. The other was circuits with the ski erg.

Monday’s session was cardio because I was hungover so trying to do damage control and on Saturday I did squats, deadlifts, bench press and then some cardio.

Overall I’m feeling good. I feel like I can see progress in how I look and I’m excited to see how my body changes over the next few months.

    Love these updates. I like seeing what other people are doing in the gym
