Fitness Update // 10 days of yoga!

Another good week on the fitness front! I worked out every day and also completed every day of the 30 day yoga challenge I spoke of in last weeks post!

Monday: Sculpt (40 mins weights) and 30 mins yoga.
Tuesday: 30 min cardio, 200 abs and 15 mins yoga.
Wednesday: Sculpt and 15 mins yoga.
Thursday: 30 mins cardio, 200 abs and 30 mins yoga.
Friday: Sculpt and 30 mins yoga.
Saturday: 30 mins cardio and 25 mins yoga.
Sunday: 10 mins yoga.

I’m well chuffed that I’ve managed to do the daily yoga! It can be a bit hard to plan into the working week as I don’t know the length of the workout until the day it’s uploaded – the longest one has been 30 mins and the shortest was Sunday, which was only 10 mins.

10 mins of yoga can be enough though, especially when you’re doing sun salutations! It definitely got my heart pumping. I did have to work yesterday, so I was a little thankful for the short workout. It meant I got to do things I normally can’t before I went to work – I made my bed and spent 10 minutes clearing my desk and tidying my room a bit before I left for work.

It was nice to come home to a tidy room – I usually leave for work in a mad rush with everything I’ve used left out, towels on the floor and my coffee cup still on my desk.

Sounds like something to add into my day on a regular basis!

The P90 is going well. I’m still switching out their cardio workouts for ones I’m finding online that are a similar length. This REALLY helps me with motivation and as long as I’m still getting my heart rate up, that’s all that counts.

I move up to the final 5-6 stage of the P90 at the end of the week.

Running hasn’t been great – the weather has been awful. On Saturday I got ready for a run, was about to fill my water bottle up and then saw it had started raining! I’m hoping to go a couple of times in the next week as I have the week off work.

Weight loss wise – I’ve not lost anything this week. Although I’m eating healthy and not over eating I wouldn’t say I’m trying too hard to lose weight at this point in time. I would like to drop some, but I have to be in the right frame of mind to have the will power to restrict some calories and I don’t want to disappoint myself and feel demotivated while I’m doing so well with exercising. I’m confident that in time, my body will change for the best if I keep this up. So if I lose 1lb a week or 1lb a month, I’d rather do it this way!

I was stuck at my previous weight for so long and it took a few weeks before I even budged a pound – I’m just glad to not have piled it all back on.

How’ve you been doing this week?

That’s a lot of yoga! Or at least it is to me. I go through phases where I try to get in about 15 or 20 minutes nearly every day, and I always feel so much better when I stick to it!

Great post, super motivating! I usually like to run three times a week but it’s been near enough impossible with all the snow/ice a lately, hoping to switch up my routine and start include more exercise as I’m currently doing a lot of ab work but ignoring other parts of my body. The 30 day yoga challenge sounds like a good place to start
